Euronext, Galmed and Stockholmshem power down their mainframes and free up their IT budgets in early 2005
Mainframe Migration Conference, Chicago, May 25, 2005 – Today, Fujitsu Software Corporation has announced a number of key customer successes in mainframe migration including Euronext (European securities exchange), Galmed (major Spanish manufacturer of galvanized steel), and Stockholmshem (property management to 60,000 Stockholm residents) , all having migrated applications in production using NetCOBOL, NeoKicks and a JCL migration solution. All of these customers have either dismantled or severed their ties with the mainframes they were using just a few months ago. In fact Datarutin, the integrator on the Stockholmshem project, recently held a "turning off the mainframe" party with the customer.(More)
